Beyoncé Knowles attended a New Year's Eve party with her husband Jay-Z and was 'definitely' still pregnant despite rumours she had given birth over the holidays.

An onlooker told People magazine that mother-to-be was eating for two and dined on fried chicken at Buttermilk Channel in Brooklyn while her rapper beau had oysters.

There had been claims last week that the 30-year-old singer had given birth to a baby girl but eyewitnesses claim that is not the case, and that the star is still waiting for the big day.

'She was definitely a pregnant lady that night,' the source said. '[Beyoncé and Jay-Z] sat side by side and had a cosy and intimate dinner. They seemed to be having a lovely time.'

And although she is in her final trimester, Beyoncé was apparently still being incredibly stylish and even donned a pair of stilettos to see in 2012.

'She looked amazing. She wore sky-high heels. It was really impressive for an enormously pregnant woman,' the insider added. 'She looked like she was about to give birth.'

The expectant parents were said to be in great spirits and greeted fans as they left the restaurant before heading to a party at Beyoncé's sister Solange's apartment, who tweeted a message to her sibling.

'Shout out to my sister for being THE cutest pregnant woman ever!' Solange wrote.
