Selena Gomez feels 'humbled' by the success she has enjoyed this year.

The 19-year-old star has released a string of hit singles and hit the road with her We Own the Night Tour in 2011. She starred in the movie Monte Carlo and hosted the MTV European Music Awards this year. Selena can't believe how much she has achieved in the past 12 months.

'My music, for sure, surprised me, like touring. I definitely was excited to get on the road and be able to have my first headlining tour," she told MTV News. "I was excited to go everywhere and meet my fans and experience different places. To be honest, I didn't expect the tour to do as well as it did, and we went to Canada and Canada was amazing and made me feel very humbled."

Selena also spoke about the end of her Disney TV show the Wizards of Waverly Place. Although she was sad to leave the series behind, she feels it was a turning point in her career.

'To be honest, it would probably be when my series ended and not in, like, a happy way, but it was kind of like it was a new chapter in my life," she replied, when asked what she will remember most about 2011. "I think it was a really interesting time for me and that time in this year was probably my favourite."

Although Selena has a hectic work schedule, she also wants to spent time with her loved ones. The star is looking forward to seeing her boyfriend Justin Bieber and also her mother ' who is pregnant.

"I'm gonna have a week off for Thanksgiving, which will be nice, and then a week and a half or two weeks for Christmas time," she added. "And then I'm going to just relax and do nothing.'
