Jennifer Lopez is allegedly dating back-up dancer Casper Smart.

US Weekly reports that the couple have been quietly dating for the past few weeks.

The relationship comes just four months after she announced her split from husband of seven years, Marc Anthony.

Casper is male dancer from California and comparisons with Jennifer's second husband, dancer Cris Judd have already been made.

"Casper dances at Club Boulevard in L.A.," a source told Us Weekly. "[He's] popular with the ladies because he goes shirtless!"

The dancer is currently backing up the singer on her latest tour.

Casper has also appeared in dance movies Step Up 3D and Honey 2. He was one of the Single Ladies dancers in the 2010 episode of Glee and he danced with Beyoncé Knowles during her 2010 Grammy Awards performance.

However, Jennifer has yet to confirm the relationship and it is apparently "nothing serious", a source told US Weekly.

The American Idol judge has had a complicated love life.

Her first marriage was to Ojani Noa in 1997, which lasted for less than a year. She then went on to date rapper P.Diddy, but ended it in 2000.

She was married to dancer Cris Judd who she met in the video for Love Don't Cost a Thing, from September, 2001 to June, 2002.

She then dated and was engaged to Ben Affleck, but the relationship came to an end and the star found love with Marc Anthony two months later. The pair married in 2004 and welcomed their twins Emme and Max into the world in 2008.

After splitting from Marc earlier this year, Jennifer reportedly had a brief relationship with The Hangover star Bradley Cooper.
