The 'Freedom' singer has purchased the five-bedroom property, which is on a secluded plot on the narrow rocky peninsula along Whales Beach, which is an hour north of Sydney.
According to celebrity blog Real Estalker, the home comes with a dramatic infinity pool overlooking the Tasman Sea and is beautifully furnished throughout.
As well as the property in Australia, George also owns homes in London and Los Angeles.
However, it seems he could be spending more time in his US mansion as it was recently reported he is to become a judge on the US version of 'The X Factor'.
The 'Careless Whisper' hitmaker - who was jailed earlier this year for driving under the influence of drugs and possession of cannabis - reportedly sees show chief Simon Cowell's offer to join the panel as an opportunity to turn his career around and get his public image back on track.
A source said: "George is going to take the job. It's an amazing opportunity to get back in the limelight and reverse his recent bad spell. Simon knows that Americans love him. He is as big in the US as he is over here in the UK.
"He is a true star and has the wit and experience for the job. It's the perfect platform to resurrect his career."
