Michael Jackson's white glove has sold for $49,000.
The famous jewel-encrusted accessory, which the late pop icon wore during his 1996 wedding to Debbie Rowe, was bought by Las Vegas Hard Rock curator Warwick Stone at an auction in Australia.
Warwick said: "Michael Jackson gave it to someone in public in Australia and most collectors of Michael Jackson memorabilia knew about this glove.
"I've got the chain that used to hang around Sid Vicious' neck, I've got one
of Elvis's .357 magnums which he used to shoot TVs with."
The right-hand glove was the first of Michael's gloves to go on sale since his June 25 death, although three more are due to go under the hammer in America this year.
Meanwhile, designer Christian Audigier is to buy the Holmby Hills mansion in Los Angeles where Michael died.
He had initially wanted to convert it into a museum in honour of his close friend - the two had been working on a clothing line together - but has now reconsidered his original plan.
Instead, he will open the house every June to mark the 50-year-old pop star's death.
Christian said: "I can have the house in one month now. I get the keys two
weeks from today."
