Britney Spears's new romance has been given the seal of approval by her ex-husband.

Kevin Federline has given his blessing to the pop star's new relationship which he confirmed was with her agent.

Spears, who divorced Federline in 2006, has recently been rumoured to be dating her longtime agent Jason Trawick.

He has been at Spears' side throughout her ongoing Circus world tour and was spotted joining the star on a family break in the Bahamas earlier this year (09).

Federline confirmed his wife is enjoying a new romance and insisted he was pleased she has found a stable relationship.

Speaking to OK magazine, he said: "I think it's great. I'm happy for her. I'm glad she's doing good. The whole situation is good right now.'
