Pictures of Michael Jackson taken just two days before he died have been published.

The photos show the King of Pop on stage rehearsing for what would have been his comeback tour at London's O2 this summer.

The snaps were taken last Tuesday (23.06.09) at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles and show the singer pointing towards the auditorium with two backing dancers behind him.

Another shows him smiling with a microphone in hand, dressed in a mac.

But the photos will undoubtedly raise further questions over how he died as despite looking frail, he appears in be in good health and in full flow throughout the rehearsal.

Jackson died aged 50 last Thursday (25.06.09) from a suspected heart attack.
