The Black Eyed Peas singer enjoyed a series of late night discussions with the 'Bride Wars' actress – who is divorced from Black Crowes rocker Chris Robinson – while planning her January wedding to Josh Duhamel.

Fergie – who stars with Kate in musical movie 'Nine' – told the USA Today newspaper: "I would be going over sketches of wedding dresses with Kate Hudson at 1 in the morning."

Fergie's bandmate Taboo has also tied the knot, marrying long-term girlfriend Jaymie Dizon last July.

However, fellow Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am insists he has no plans to settle down and is only interested in his music career.

He said: "I'm married to the work. Somebody asked me if I was going to work in politics, but I couldn't do that. I would have to unplug myself from what we're doing now. If you're going to sleep at 10 or 11 o'clock at night and the youth are going to sleep at five in the morning, how can you relate to them?"

Despite will's single status, Taboo is convinced he can convince him and their other bandmate Apl.de.Ap to marry.

He said recently: 'I feel me and Fergie can inspire Will and Apl. when they're ready to get to where we're at - by shedding a little light on our experience. You can only party so much until the party dies down after years and years of doing it."
