Alicia Keys introduces baby

Alicia Keys and her husband Swizz Beatz have introduced their new baby via Instagram.
Alicia Keys and her husband Swizz Beatz have introduced their new baby via Instagram.

The 33-year-old Girl on Fire singer welcomed her son Genesis with the 36-year-old hip hop producer at the close of December 2014, the couple's second child together.

Most of the family were photographed in the sweet black and white image she shared with fans on Instagram Friday, in which everyone focused on baby Genesis with a loving gaze.

'Blessings and love!! #GenesisAliDean (sic),' she wrote in the picture's caption, signing off the message with two hearts and a kiss-blowing emoji.

Alicia is also stepmother to Swizz's three other children from previous relationships. Her son with Swizz, four-year-old Egypt, was featured in the family photograph, and Genesis' half-brother Kasseem Dean Jr., seven, also made an appearance.

Alicia and Swizz, real name Kasseem Dean, tied the knot in 2010 on the French island of Corsica.

And although the songstress was previously criticised by Swizz's ex-wife Mashonda, who is mother to Kasseem Jr., Alicia has spoken about the beautiful bond she's managed to forge with the moms of Swizz's other children.

'You know what I think it really is? It's about the kids: when everybody is able to be an adult, which we all are able to be, and we're able to really recognise that actually, there's a beautiful value about the way that we can all influence each other's lives and the lives of the kids," Alicia explained to talk show host Wendy Williams. "They can really see that they have more than one woman to look to and say, 'What can I learn here?' 'What can I learn there?' and guidance and love. And it's fatherhood and motherhood and it's friendship. It's really, really important and I think it's so beautiful. It doesn't always work but it's totally possible. And it can work when everybody really wants to do the right thing for the children.'
