After being dumped from his label, then finding huge success with the Take That reunion, Robbie Williams is back in demand.
Metro.co.uk reports that Williams is back on the radar of record labels, and on the verge of signing a new solo album deal.
Williams completed his EMI commitments with 2009's Reality Killed The Video Star and the label chose not renew his record contract (but did release an end-of-the-decade Greatest Hits last year).
Following the massive success of the Take That reunion and their new album Progress being the second fastest-selling album ever in the UK, apparently Universal are 'leading the chase' for his signature on a new contract.
But 'an insider' quells fears that he might skip out on the Take That tour if offered a fat contract, saying, 'Robbie's been very committed to this Take That project and can't wait to tour with the guys.'
