The latest global download survey by Nokia's Ovi Music reveals Shakira is the world's most popular Latin musician in 2010.

She currently tops the Latin download charts in over 35 countries and claims four out of the world's ten most downloaded Latin tracks – with her latest album and lead single She Wolf currently top of the Ovi Music download charts.

In Germany, the top ten Latin music downloads all come from Shakira, while in Austria and the UK nine of the top ten Latin music downloads belong to the Colombian star. Latin music fans in China, Finland, Sweden and Switzerland are further proof of Shakira's global domination of Latin music, with the singer behind eight of the top ten Latino tracks downloaded in these markets.

According to the research, the world's biggest Latin music download hotpots are Mexico and Brazil, who are responsible for over 90 per cent of Latin music downloads between them (61 per cent and 31 per cent relatively); Finland comes in third as Europe's biggest Latino downloader, followed by Spain and the UK.
